I think, based on how the boomerang fish is smaller in the player’s hand compared to in the water, that the game has to scale up the creatures in order for them to not look incredibly small. So, as you see them, they’re probably that size, or would be irl

Life pod 6 is exactly why i'd rather be alone in a survival situation. The absolute last thing i'd need is an incompetent person at best slowing me down, or at worst getting us both killed. So the moment my survival partner shows themselves to be incompetent they're on their own.

I actually think the opposite. i think the kharaa from subnautica is the mutation and the kharaa from natural selection is the original bacteria. I don't see the precursors so easily being decimated by the kharaa in its current form. I'm thinking they brought the illness to the planet and the trace amounts of enzyme 42 caused the kharaa to mutate into a far less deadly form, still fatal but not nearly as mutagenic and virulent. perhaps by the time they found Planet 4546B most precursors were either dead or converted to a mechanical form.

Erm actually it's not 3 hours it's probably 8 because of the Aurora black box data saying that the player and 1 other life sign (prob Marguerit Maida from the Degasi) 8 hours after the crash But it could be 3, I don't know as I'm not the best at understanding Subnautica's complex lore (Btw if it is 8 then the reason it crashes at day and you wake up at day is bc there are 2 hrs in a day as the PDA says that Aurora's drive core will explode within 2 hrs when it explodes the next day)
